So.. i try to keep these captions brief but this band and the next (band 105 and band 106) are new to me, they are herds of pintos both bands, and while we do have pintos and paints here in Alberta wild horse country they are quite rare in most areas, so it would be so incredible if they are wild, and I have not yet found other documentation of them, they are on public land and they are not branded, so it leaves us with two possibilities, this is either a true wild herd or they are indigenous horses free ranging, so if they are owned by someone, i ask for you to send me a photo that would proove they are domestic pets, then their files would be removed, however as long as they are on PLUZ (public land use zones) we will mark them as wild and as part of our count until otherwise known because they are in wild horse country. I definitely want to share facts only and wild horses only, because we want to remain transparent, we will document all wild horses we find and that also means acknowledging when i am unsure. So we found this herd on public land, we did not take pictures on or at anyone's private property, we only document what is on designated public land use zones, equine management zones and crown land in between, so If i am incorrect here, I will apologize in advance and remove this file if they do infact belong to someone. ( I do believe they are wild though, which is why I have them documented) so we will continue now with their ID photos and if anyone recognizes them as a pet or someone's horse please email me a picture id matching and I will remove the file, thanks!
